Noryokushiken

It's not nearly as complex as English, but as usual we find ways to screw it up.

Noryokushiken

Post by Yuki~ »

Noryokushiken is a hm.... examination of our proficiency on the japanese language....
And I'm going to do it this year. And, looking at the manual, I discovered that it'll be done in a lot of countries.
Sensei told us that, because this is our first try, we'll be in level 4(it's the first one) and we must understand all the kanji book (it contains about 80 kanjis.) and all the conversation book(it contains about 25 units.) And she also said that if we get more than 60% of the test, we'll receive a "diploma" (I didn't know how to write this in english, I went in a translator and it showed me this. Sorry if it's wrong[by the way, we write diploma here, so, I wrote it more thinking about portuguese...XD])from Japan.
Oh, and she said too that (at least here), the results will be showed in our ''resume'' (is it right??XD Google Translator is weird sometimes... XD) if we need it someday..... ^^

Well.... I just wanted to know if somebody else is going to do it too...... XXDD
Hm.... I'm not nervous about it.... but I really need to start studying a little, because I want to get a diploma!!! ^^v

Good luck with your test! It'll be fantastic to have credentials you can use in the future to show you can speak Japanese. Although you're quite a ways off from fluency, this test is a good step towards it and I encourage you to pursue the language all the way through. I never had the pleasure of taking a Japanese class in school, nor do I even know how or where or if it costs money to take the JLPT since I'm an overseas independent learner. But translating jobs are always in demand and pay rather well, so I wish I was certified to do them!

By the way, we usually know the test as the JLPT over here - Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Calling it the Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken is the same thing though.

Good luck! :D. And a word of advice to you also: don't use your japanese knowledge to translate fansubs >_>.

You have nothing to worry about, Level four is sooooo easy, you will pass it no sweat!

I had a friend who was living in Japan, and he knew hardly any Kanji at all, and hardly new any Japanese past "Something wa something desu" and he still managed to pass it

I expect a very good score out of you! Good luck! :D

hey!!!!!! last week sensei brought us the last year's test, so we could do it
But we just did the first part, and the biggest point we could do was 55... I did 47!!! So, sensei did something and the result was that I did 85% of the first part.
^_____________^
By the way, a lot of things, I knew because of I learned alone, with songs and watching animes.... ^^

Good job! Congraturation!

I'm glad to hear you're practicing and learning outside of class too. :3 It makes a big difference!

^^-
Yes, I could see the difference... there was a part that we didn't know what to do, so, I read on the top of the page, it was written in jaapanese, but I could translate it into portuguese, so I understood what we had to do. But sensei had to explain for my friends what we should do...

Thanks! ^^ We did the second part yesterday... the second part had two parts (it sounds confused, but I'll try to explain it... XXDD @.@'' ^^v)
The first one, there were the draws, and we had to listen what the cd said and choose the rgith one.
The second part, was a little more difficult, because there was no draw, there was just a space where we could write notes of what we understood. So, this part, it was 8 questions, I missed 3. And the first part, it was 9 questions, I did all right!
But I don't know yet how many points I did yesterday, but I was the one who missed less than the other ones.... ^o^
In two weeks, we are doing the final part... ^^
Sinceraly, I'm not thinking Noryokushiken is hard.... at least, last year's test isn't too hard.... =D

We did the final part last week... it was pretty long!
It had 47 questions... I didn't think it was hard, so, if this year's test be like last year's, I'll be very happy...
now, this next week, sensei will give us how many points we did.....
Well, I know that on the first part of all, I was good: I did 85% of the points. The second part, I don't know how many points I did and I don't know too how many points I did on the last part.

Oh! Today we'll present a play about my city's history... XXDD
We've already presented this play on Tanoshii Nihongo no Tsudoi in Atibaia, but today, they will show to the people a book about the 50 years of the japanese assiciation.. that's why we are going to present the play... XXDD
I'm going to talk a lot! XP I'm going to be 2 characters and the 3rd narrator....

oohhhh... I think I'd be really really really happy if I at least somebody from my family was from Japan... well.. I'm not from Japan (TT.TT)... I just study japanese because I love the language, the culture, animes, mangás, songs.....
I'm from Brasil... =P Just to say.. I don't like here... because.... well.. have you ever heard of 'PCC'? It happened about May 14th of this year.. I got really scared.. and my aunt who was in the USA when it happened phoned here asking what was going on here.... and there's politics problems, well.. that's not a place to say about this.. =P

And... oh! Sensei gave us the result of the last part, I did 80% of it. Now, we're going to do this year's Noryokushiken this Sunday. Well.... 0.0''9 XD
