You don't necessarily need to have seen Hentai to know what yaoi or yuri is, you can just know from knowing Japanese... And there are cases that have watched hentai but don't know what either of those mean.

Yes, that is right. You can know what Yaoi and Yuri are just from learning Japanese, which I happen to know. Yaoi is gay pairings. Yuri is lesbian pairings. Its sick, I know. Read fanfiction. Its all over the place. There are lots of sick people who think only a certain age group reads it so they dont care if young people like me read that stuff. I dont read it, they write stuff in the summary that already creeps me to death.
