Gundam 08th MS Team

i loved this Gundam series its my second fav behind Wing.....i loved the story and i loved how a gundam wasnt all that special and that neither were the pilots...it was the most realistic series......what do you guys think

Most UC Gundam series are like that. In Gundam 0083 Kou Uraki gets his Gundam GP02 trashed, twice! The second time it gets totaled. Even in Mobile Suit Gundam or Zeta Gundam the Gundam gets hammered and needs to be repaired. Granted MSG the Gundam is the prototype and suffers from the mobile armor of the week the MSG movies eliminate this part and keeps it as a war story.

yea thats why those gundam series were sooo awsome....it was futuristic but they didnt take it to far..it seemed as if it was all taking place now......

Well close to now, UC 0001 doesn't start until 2046. Although there is no Federation around right now. So Gundam UC 0079 isn't until 2125 our time, how far do you expect technology to advance til then? I'm kind of glad many of the weapons in the UC Gundam series start with weapons like we expect now, but the ground troops are still using slug throwing guns.
