It's not really a good idea to use Wikipedia as a source unless it states where it's gotten the information from. Even then, anybody can edit it, so it's possible that someone vandalized it.
I'm not saying that it isn't true, I'm just saying that Wikipedia isn't the end-all be-all for sources.
