im confused about all these types of gundams the only i know is gundam wing.iv seen all the eps and the movie then i see something called gundam seed and i get so confused lol

Well I don't blame you for being confused, many don't understand it at first. So I'll try to explain.
If you wanted to watch Gundam in chronological order it would go something like this.

U.C. Era (Universal Century) These are the original Gundam series, which started with
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gundam 08th MS Team
Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket
Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
Zeta Gundam
ZZ Gundam
Gundam Char's Counter Attack
Gundam F91
V Gundam
And technically G-Savior fits in here, but there is a manga series Gaia Gear which takes place about the same time. So G-Savior messes up continuity so many fans disreguard G-Savior.

The other series are called Alternate Gundam, they technically have nothing to do with the U.C. era Gundams or each other. They are mainly a homage to the original and meant to draw in more fans to the Gundam series in general, so that Gundam has something for every one. The Alternate Gundams series are
F.C. (Future Century)
G Gundam

A.C. (After Colony)
Gundam Wing
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

A.W. (After War)
After War Gundam X

C.C (Cosmic Century?)
Turn A Gundam

C.E. (Cosmic Era)
Gundam Seed
Gundam Seed Destiny

You don't have to watch them in chronological order as they weren't made that way, and some have a story line with new characters. Think of it as if you're watching a WW II movie through the soldier's eyes. Just remember the first one Mobile Suit Gundam was made 25 years ago, it's animation isn't bad it's just dated. And all following Gundam pay homage to it in some way. That's why there is almost always a masked character and a young kid that takes control of the Gundam. They all do it, but MSG did it first.

And some say Turn A Gundam could be the series to tie them all together which just makes it even more confusing.

Yeah, I've been around long enough to know them. Enough to know the errors in the series. And enough to know that the series like Gundam Wing and in some way Gundam Seed were made to draw more females to Gundam.

the diferent gundam seires and hey i love the gundam seires but Gundam SEED has to be the best along with Gundam SEED DESTINY and if u want to know anything about Gundam SEED or SEED DESTINY then i'm the one to ask! i know the sieres back and front! AND I LOVE IT!
