The way this show is written is beyond great because the creator wrote from 2 very opposite perspectives and he wrote so in depth from each side that it's actually scary. He wrote every scenario for the perfect killer and at the same time wrote every scenario for the perfect detective, it amazes me every time I watch the show.

To think that far in depth for 2 opposite sides of a spectrum you would have to be a genius for starters and also think like a mass murderer and great detective at the same time....

Tsugumi Ohba wrote the story of Death Note, but had nothing to do with the art. Death Note was his debut work. Many people believe that he is actually someone else that changed his name so that people reading Death Note wouldn't know that it was also made by the author of manga that is a far cry from what Death Note is.

Takeshi Obata drew the art of Death Note, but had nothing to do with the story. He has only written a small amount of manga. However, he is well known as the artist in several manga series.

And I read on a magazine that they don't know exactly if Tsugumi Ohba is a man or woman, but I don't know. XD

Hallow, I know that Obata only drew Death Note. He also drew Hikaru no Go. No offense to the guy, but it's not very manga like in my opinion.

Tsugumi Ohba is the writer, but through his work in Death Note, which people hace seen clues, some believe that Tsugumi is just a pen-name, and he is accually Hiroshi Gamō, who is a mangaka who does alot of work in Shonen Jump. and the artist of Death Note is Takeshi Obata. He tends to only do the art work, not ussually the story. Takeshi also did the art to Hikaru no Go, Rurouni Kenshin, and others.

Kenshin? Are you sure he drew Kenshin? I'm pretty sure Watsuki did the art for Kenshin because it's the same in Buso Renkin, one of his other series

Amazing! And those stategies and wittiness... Awesome!
The manga is wisely made.
And it still confuses me of who is the bad and good guy.

Light is the main character yet what he's doing is bad though a main character normally have good thinkings and doing and must be a good guy which Light is not, on the other hand, L is the one with good intentions not to get everybody hurt, means that he is fighting the main character(Light) thus, making him the bad guy, which he is not.....?
My head hurts! o_O
