A poem.

[Eiri Yuki]

It begun in innocence,
niether one knowing
that lust had caught fire
and the winds of love were blowing.
The sparks flew from lust
on love's sweet tender kiss.
And yet, as always is the case
it somehow seemed to miss.
The love they had continued
but no new ground was discovered.
Eventually both saw
the truth that was uncovered.
One was in love,
the other didn't know how to it should end.
How to conclude a serious relationship
and still continue to be friends.
Somehow they managed to part
and still stay open to each other.
Somehow they stayed close
after each finding a new lover.
To this day she comes to him
whenever she needs his advice.
To this day he loves her deeply
and his heart is in her vice.
