Well.. the manga is very different of the anime, so it could mean the manga hasn't ended yet.

The manga is the real, original story for FMA and it's still going. The anime was nothing but shitty filler

XD shitty filler. I love it. Actually, I do love the tv series because of the unique plot line but I do have to say- the manga is wayyyy better.
