Can you guys give me some recommendations based on what shows I liked? yeah I know that most of the shows I've seen don't have any style in common (i.e. Excel Saga and Champloo)

Bleach is good too. If you like mecha types then Zoids (I liked Chaos Century the most) is awesome.

i got pissed off with Evangalion... i like the movie ending then the anime ending... it's not in my favorite mecha because it required a movie ending for a "fixed" ending :/

but Evanglaion is good and it really has to make you think (which is lacking in recent anime), don't watch it on my account and develope your own opinion ...the director got a case of depression near the end of the anime and it really just leaves you with a depressed feeling in the last episodes, that or a "wtf is going on, this makes no sense" feeling...

the evangelion anime ending is great in my opinion, he left it open to let the viewer decide what really happened. it all makes sense if you pay attention to all that is going on.....Basically the world was returned to the primordial soup that spawned life, and it was each persons choice to return to individuality. Shinji and Asuka were the only ones who chose individuality, though he let the viewer decide if the others would eventually choose the same. The movie ending as said by the creator is not a so called "fix" to the anime ending.....it is an alternate ending for those who didn't understand the anime ending.
