Because it's so different to all other animes out there, a good few of the animes I've seen don't have much of an original story line to them... Plus all the characters are so colourful and unique, the animation can be down-right beautiful when it's done properly and... The balance of humour, drama and action. That's why I think Dragonball is so awesome ^^

dragonball z was the best out of all 3 too bad thry didn`t include the final japanese eps in the english version cuz it was pretty funny
