A question about tag matches and fusion.
A question about tag matches and fusion.
I've seen in the anime monsters from both teamates being fused (eg Black Skull Dragon.) My question is, which team member controls the fusion monster?
Example, Teammate A has a material monster on the field. Teammate B has another material monster and plays polymerization.
Does B get control for playing polymerization.

We'll, depends who orders the attack

Ive seen 3 different styles of tag team game played, the biggest differences being either using shared lifepoints and field or seperate lifepoints and fields. I know 2 of them has the players taking turns but im not sure how the other 1 worked.
In all of them control of a fusion monster belongs to the player who performed the fusion
summon.
I really like the 3 or 4 way all against all duels though, they are funny when everyone is trying to get you to attack someone else or save them. Deciding who is best to hit or bargaining not to be hit becomes a big part of the game.

It makes more sence if B controls it, since they did "create" it

I think they should both control it
..... but then one person woldn't be protected>.<

I am more inclined to accept that the player who played polymer gains control. If both players control it, it raises questions like can it attack on one players turn and again on the other player's

I always thought the person who summons the monster controls the monster so in this case it would be the person who plays polymerization, but then I have never seen a tagteam duel, only heard about them, so I don't really know what I am talking about.

Well I've seen some pretty wierd tag theories, such as that one member (A) can sacrifice another member (B)'s monsters, given the permission. Same with polymerisation, who ever activates polymerisation should get the monster.

I have a few questions.
1. If you tribute summon a monster, can you trbiute one of your partners monsters as well?
2. If opponent attacks my partners life points and I send my monster in to defend his/her life points it and gets destroyed, who loses the life points?

You would lose the LP, because it was your monster that participated in battle, thus you recieve the battle damage.

this is a bit off-topic, I know, but Blue Destiny of Dartz, in your sig you use some strange scripting for that SPOILER thing. how do you do that?
