Like this is a fair compairison. You're compairing apples to oranges here.
Wolf's Rain is a relatively new series, as a result it looks better. But I prefer AT Votoms as it's an anime classic about a man Chirico Cuvie trying to escape his two pasts. One he cannot remember the other he can't forget.
Chirico can't remember his life past the age of 10, and the past he's trying to escape from is his membership of an elite Votom unit known as the Red Shoulders also called with much hate as the Blood Suckers.
Chirico runs into a woman that is a part of a secrect plan to build a super soldier, and a secret society than hunts him down when he runs off with their prefect weapon the woman known as Fyana. Together Chirico and Fyana try to escape the secret society, the super soldier program and war.
AT Votoms series is 52 episodes long.

i've never heard of AT Votoms actually but it sounds pretty good. as for Wolf's Rain i like the show. but in comparison to what i hear about AT Votoms i think i would like that one better. but considering i haven't evn seen it...
