Character Profile: Yukiteru "Yukki" Amano

Yukitero Amano is the main character of The Future Diary. He is very reclusive, and socially awkward, and often writes in his diary about the various things that he sees and hears as he goes about his day. When his imaginary friend, Deus Ex Machina, gave his diary the ability to see the future, he started using it for his personal interests like cheating on tests and evading ambushes from bullies, but it doesn't take long for him to realize that other people with diaries similar to his are fighting in a battle to the death where the last man standing becomes the next good of time and space.

Yuki also has to deal with Yuno Gasai, who fell in love with Yuki and willing to murder anyone that could possibly stop her from having him, making him somewhat of a prisoner to him. As the survival game goes on, Yuki's mind slowly starts to break until he becomes a deranged shell of his former self.
