Character Description: Reki
Reki is the Haibane who always helps Rakka. Well, at first anyway. When Kuu has her "Day of Flight", Rakka is so sad that she becomes sinbound, a condition that a Haibane falls into when they need to be saved by someone.
Reki has a gray dye that she gives Rakka, revealing that she too, is sinbound. Reki had a dream while she was in her cocoon that has been coming back every night for 7 long years. However, she cannot remember the last thing that happened in her dream, except for the fact that it was very frightening. She promised herself that she was going to take care of Rakka and be a "good little Haibane" so that maybe God would come down and finally forgive her.
Reki tells Rakka that the whole time it was a lie for her own sake, and that she didn't really care if Rakka got hurt or not. Because it was too late for her.
But Reki was lying. She really does care, and she really is a good Haibane.
