Character Description: Ash
Ash is a member of the Chess Pieces, but the only reason he joined was due to the idea that the children of Mar Heaven would be safe if he did so. He's a father, and comments his children are around Ginta's age. It's for this reason that he begs Ginta to give up, instead of dying, and when one of his attacks lands on Ginta, he panics and tries to help him.
He thinks of nothing other than protecting and helping children, making them smile and laugh. Finally, after experiencing Ginta's determination, he actually declares Ginta the winner and refuses to fight anymore, saying he trusts the future of the children to Ginta. This is the only time he ever takes off his mask. He actually volunteers to be punished for quitting the fight, but isn't.
