Character Profile: Jack

Jack is a simple farmer whose crops are attacked by werewolves almost nightly, no matter how often he yells at them. When he finds Ginta and Babbo in his patch instead of the werewolves he expected, they ended up being allowed to come inside for food, and eventually Ginta and Jack became good friends.

Ginta and Babbo later help Jack defeat the werewolves. Jack has an amazing talent for growing food, such as his overnight vegetables. He carries his father's Arm, the Battle Shovel (or Battle Scoop), which ends up getting laughed at by Alan.

A little while later, he's able to force plants to grow instantly and cause the ground to split. He can also hide inside a seed for protection. He fights to protect his mother and to repay Ginta, as well as to avenge his father, who died in the last war.
