Character Description: Agent K
Agent K is the veteran MIB agent and the partner/mentor to Agent J, who he keeps calling "slick." As opposed to J's more impulsive behavior, K is more methodical and often has access to more gadgets than J has at the current moment and has authorization to drive the LTD.
When K first joined the MIB, he was mentored by Alpha, one of the MIB's founding members. But after Alpha stole a Cosmic Integrator from a rogue gang of Verutians, he became intoxicated by its power. When K tried to snap Alpha out of his lust for power, Alpha shot K and left him for dead.
During the events of the movie, Agent K was partnered with an older agent named Agent D, until Agent D retired from the MIB and was neuralyzed. After that, when he noticed that Agent J was aware of aliens and recruited him into the MIB organization. After J's initiation, K mentored him on the ins and outs of the organization as they tracked down a giant alien bug named Edgar. After J and K killed Edgar, K also retired and was neuralyzed. But the Men in Black cartoon series takes place in an alternate timeline where Agent K doesn't retire, and continues to mentor and partner up with J.
A major running gag with Agent K is that J keeps saying that he is "stone faced" though he does show emotion, such as affection towards Aileen, a female alien who also works for the Men in Black.
