Character Profile: Armisael

Resembling a long glowing noodle, this Angel appears to be a giant halo. Able to change its shape at any time, this Angel is one of the fastest of all the Angels. Because it's so slim, thin, and fast, it's fairly hard to hit. It also has a very strong AT field.

Rei comes into contact with Armisael, and Armisael begins to invade Rei. Rei then decides the only way to destroy Armisael is to self-destruct (and to save Shinji). She does and thus destroys the Angel, but at the cost of her own life.
