Character Description: Casey
Casey is a Pokemon trainer from New Bark Town in Johto. She first met Ash and company shortly after starting her Pokemon journey; at the time, she got upset after Ash defeated her in a Pokemon battle, but she became friends with the gang after helping them thwart one of Team Rocket's plans.
Casey's starter Pokemon was a Chikorita, which later evolved into a Bayleef, then into a Meganium. However, her real passion is yellow-and-black striped Pokemon, reflecting her obsession with the Electabuzz baseball team. She has two Pokemon which fit this category, a Beedrill (given to her by Ash, who caught it in the Bug-catching Contest) and an Elekid (the pre-evolved form of Electabuzz). She often uses baseball terminology when giving commands to her Pokemon and has been known to "treat" people to a rendition of one of the Electabuzz team's fight songs.
