Character Description: Fujimoto
Fujimoto is Ponyo's father and a sea wizard. He spends most of his time gathering magic from the ocean and using it for his craft. When Ponyo sneaks away from her home, Fujimoto eventually catches up with her and finds she's in Sosuke's care. Desperate to get her back, Fujimoto does eventually retrieve Ponyo and brings her back to his underwater home.
Fujimoto then has a fight with his daughter over her wanting to be a human like Sosuke and must quickly stop her magic actions from trying to become a human herself. He succeeds but must now go see Ponyo's mother for further help. One of Fujimoto's powers consists of creating water creatures to do his bidding. He also travels around in a sub with flipper-like feet.
