The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a gentle slice-of-life romance about two high schoolers who live in neighboring apartments. Mahiru Shiina is the school's idol, so beautiful, brilliant, and seemingly perfect that her classmates have nicknamed her "the angel." Amane Fujimiya is an unremarkable boy living on his own, content to let his apartment and his routines fall into disarray.

When Amane lends Mahiru his umbrella on a rainy day, the small kindness slowly draws the two together. Mahiru begins looking after him, cooking his meals and tidying his home, and as the short distance between their balconies shrinks, so does the distance between their hearts. The result is a warm, low-key story about two lonely people quietly learning to rely on one another.

Based on the light novels by Saekisan and animated by Project No.9, the series first aired in 2023.
