She is a teenage ghoul who worked for a cafe called Anteiku, where the main character, Ken Kaneki, also worked. Touka has a harsh personality when she was a teenager but as she grows older, she's becomes softer; however, she won't hesitate to revert to her old personality. While she is hunting, she is known as "The Rabbit" for the rabbit-like mask she wears. When she's an adult, she opens her own cafe and eventually marries Ken Kaneki and has a daughter with him.
