Toga Yagari was both Zero Kiryu's and Ichiru Kiryu's teacher. Toga Yagari was sent to Cross Academy to watch over Zero to make sure he didn't become harmful to the students. Toga Yagari is one of the most respected and admired Vampire Hunters other then the chair man of Cross academy. During Toga Yagari's time at Cross Academy his other apprentices and Zero's twin brother Ichiru shows up with pure-blood Vampire Sizuka Hio. Toga Yagari ends up protecting the twins more then once. He also lost his right eye from protecting Zero Kiryu from a Level E vampire. In the end he and the Chairman end up having to stop the Level E's from entering the school as Rido Kuran trys to kill Yuki.
