Character Description: Kimihiro Watanuki
Kimihiro Watanuki has seen spirits ever since he was little. He normally gets followed by evil spirits rather than good ones. He was walking and spirits started to follow him. Then he began to run away, but still they caught up. Then he hit a barrier and they all disappeared.
He was drawn in; there he meets Yuuko and becomes her servant. Yuuko tells him a lot about himself he didn't really know, like why spirits are attracted to him (it's his blood).
Watanuki scares easily. All you have to do is sneak up on him and then he freaks out and starts yelling. Overall, he is very funny.
Watanuki meets a boy who happens to be a spirit, and they became close friends. He never tells us his name but he tell Watanuki that April 1st is an important day for him as well. It turns out that it is the day he gets to go to Heaven. He gives a piece of his bone to Watanuki for a birth day present because it can destroy evil spirits. This boy was one of the few good spirits Watanuki ever knew.
Watanuki was born on April 1, and in Japanese Watanuki actually spells April 1st in kanji.
