Description: Zipang
The Japanese Self-Defense Force (SDF) introduces the Mirai, an improved Kongou-class Aegis guided missile destroyer. It's said to be one of the most advanced ships ever created. Her crew is lead by Capt. Umezu Saburo and Executive Officer Kadomatsu Yosuke.
One day, the Mirai encounters a fierce storm during a routine training exercise. Navigation systems are completely thrown off during the incident. After the massive storm, the crew is shocked to find themselves in the year 1942! They're plunged right in the middle of the Battle of Midway during World War II on June 4th.
The crew decides to let history play out as it should, but things take a new turn when they encounter the dying Lt. Commander Kusaka Takumi. Instincts and good intentions soon plunge history into new and unpredictable directions.....
