Character Description: Yuri Nakamura
Yuri Nakamura is the founder and leader of the Afterlife-based school organization Afterlife Battle Front. She leads the campaign of a number of students who fight against God, whom they blame for their cruel fates.
Yuri was the eldest of the four Nakamura siblings. Her family was very wealthy. When their parents left the house one day for personal business, a group of robbers broke in and attempted to rob the house. Unfortunately the robbers couldn't find the valuables so they went to the eldest which whom was Yuri Nakamura, they gave her 10 minute intervals for each of her siblings and if she didn't bring back any valuables, the robbers would kill each one of them during the intervals. She didn't know where the valuables were in her home and she fell while carrying the vase and when she ran down stairs she found all her siblings dead. She lost everything in 30 minutes.
The manga reveals that she died after being hit by a car while waiting at a bus stop. Yuri explained to Otonashi that the police arrived thirty minutes after her last sibling had been killed, but how the police knew about the murders is unclear. Her siblings being dead was her inspiration in the afterlife.
