Description: Anonymous Noise
Discover Anime @ AbsoluteAnime.comKodomo no OmochaAnonymous Noise follows Nino Arisugawa, a girl who has loved singing for as long as she can remember and who measures her life by the two boys she lost. As a child, she was taken in by a quiet, gentle composer she calls Momo, who first taught her what it meant to sing for someone, and then she was found by the brilliant, prickly Yuzuriha Shindou, who wrote songs only she could perform. Both vanished from her life within a year, and Nino has spent every day since shouting her voice into the sky, hoping that wherever they are, they might hear her.
Years later, she enters high school and discovers that Yuzu has not only returned but is leading an underground student rock band desperate for a vocalist. As Nino is pulled into their orbit, a mysterious masked musician known only as Alice in the Mask explodes onto the national charts, and the question of who hides behind the mask draws her, Yuzu, and the rest of the band toward a reunion years in the making.
Animated by Brain's Base under director Hideya Takahashi in 2017, and based on the popular shōjo manga by Momo Sakaki's creator Ryoko Fukuyama, Anonymous Noise is a music-and-romance drama that takes its songs seriously, devoting whole episodes to performances and balancing teenage longing with the harder questions of artistic obsession.
