Character Description: Ayame Shaga
Ayame Shaga is Yo Sato's half-Italian cousin. Born on the same day as Sato, she shares the same love for video games as Sato, particularly Sega's 'Virtura Fighter'. She is also the president of the Gaming Club at Sawagi High School – a school which also has the pair known as 'Orthrus', the Sawagi twins Kyo 1 and Kyo 2.
A vivacious girl, Ayame is constantly flirting with Sato, as well as Hana Oshiroi, but lives in terror of Ume Shiraume, as she seems to be enraptured with Ayame. An accomplished bento brawler herself with considerable fame in the eastern section, Ayame earned her nom de guerre "The Beauty by the Lake" when she fell asleep on a park bench in front of a fountain after eating her bento and slept all night. Her fighting skill is considerable, and she's well adept at using disposable chopsticks as a weapon.
