Character Description: Mimiko Katsuragi
An orphan, Mimiko Katsuragi was raised within the Order Coffin Company, the firm responsible for the administration of the Special Zone in Yokohama, a zone for the secret placement of vampires created in the wake of the destruction of Hong Kong during the Kowloon Shock. Even though she is human, she lives within the zone, working as a compromiser in the company's Mediation department, Jinnai Shogo being her supervisor.
Mimiko doesn't hold any prejudice against any race, vampires in particular. To her, black bloods (vampires) and red bloods (humans) are all equal, which is why she decided to make her home within the Special Zone. She has been assigned to help Jiro and Kotaro transition into the zone – even so far as offering her blood to Jiro in his battle against the Kowloon Children (even though it's against Company policy).
