Character Profile: Don Patch

His Japanese name is a pun on "donpachi", the Japanese sound of machine gun fire.

Don Patch is a round orange guy with spikes all over his back (think Sonic the Hedgehog but with a round body).

He was the leader of the Wiggen Out gang (Hajikegumi), a group of one human and seven smaller mini Patches who hate Emperor Baldy. But he left in order to travel (or get away from his followers who wouldn't even let him use the bathroom alone!). He gets an episode all by himself when he is to graduate from school, and Bobobo annoys him while his old gang stops by.

Don Patch's biggest weapons are his spikes, the magic wand which he and Bobobo must use together, and his habit to go into a rage running around with his teeth bared. He also acts child like at times by rolling a toy car around, and acts silly when fighting by grinning as his eyes turn blue (think of those oak tag cut outs of smiling suns in kindergarten, that's how he looks like that) .

Don Patch also has a little son named Ko Patch (Ko Patchi) who appears later in the Anime.
