Character Profile: Minoru Kokubunji

Despite his youth, Minoru is an expert on Persocoms whose knowledge of which is unrivaled (possibly surpassed only by Chitose Hibiya). He has no parents (both are presumably deceased), and his only remaining family member, his sister Kaede, died of an illness two years before the story takes place. Minoru created Yuzuki in Kaede's likeness to replace the sister he lost. In addition to Yuzuki, Minoru has also custom-built four female maid persocoms, which are dressed in rather skimpy outfits.

Minoru is also a regular user of the online Bulletin Board System (BBS) under the username "M", which is how he met first Hideki's friend Shinbo, and then later Hideki. Minoru understands Hideki's relationship with Chii, and assists Hideki whenever possible, often meeting up with Hideki at Minoru's preferred hangout, the Duklyon Cafe.

Minoru is a 12-year-old genius attending Kiyozono Academy. He lives in a HUGE mansion with four maid units and Yuzuki. Minoru met Shinbo in the Persocom BBS and they soon became fast friends. Minoru is very attached to Yuzuki because she was built in his sister's memory. Minoru is very helpful, especially when Chii is kidnapped.
