Character Profile: Tsubame Otori

Tsubame comes from France to Japan with Cigogne, an old acquaintance of the school principal. Why did she come? The answer is simple: to prevent the Cyberteam in Akihabara from interfering in Rosenkreuz's operations. So, she has command over Shooting Star, but the latter seems to use her for his purposes rather than following her orders.

Tsubame is a very introverted girl, who shows very little emotions, and doesn't talk much. She seems not used to social life: the word friend has no meaning to her, mainly because she lived most of the time in an isolated castle somewhere in France. She seems so detached from normal life that one could imagine she's not human (actually, she's an artificial lifeform like Shooting Star). Also, Cigogne is her father, but the relationship between the two is nearly non-existent.

She's in the same class as Hibari, and Hibari is the only one who treats Tsubame as a normal person. Tsubame is struck by Hibari's personality, and eventually the two become close friends (after many fights in Akihabara's streets). The influence of Hibari on Tsubame ultimately leads her to disobeying her orders and joining the Cyberteam in Akihabara against Rosenkreuz. Her name means "Swallow".
