Character Profile: Daimaru Sumiyoshi

Daimaru Sumiyoshi is one of Wantanabe's roommates who lives next door to Excel and Hyatt. He certainly is one the oddest characters in Excel Saga. For one thing, he NEVER speaks. Anything he 'says' is always in text (strangly enough, that text has a Kansai accent). He also has the strange ability to maintain the same deadpan expression on his face, even when he's in a panic. He, like Wantanabe and Iwata, had taken the civil servant's exam because they were out of work, and somehow ended up drafted as one of Kabapu's 'fresh young warriors' in City Security.
