For the Moderators

Can a moderator please explain to me why The Happy Birthday thread hasn't been moved yet.

I reported it as being in the wrong section and requested it be moved to Mindless Chit Chat quite sometime ago (I don't normally do this however its a sticky so I felt it more significant that it goes into the correct section) and it still hasn't been moved..

So I'm guessing the moderators disagree with me, so I'd appreciate an explanation of why they feel that saying 'Happy Birthday' to people on the other-side of the world fits the criteria of the forum. Which I remind you is 'Meaningful discussions about anything not related to the other forums.'

Ps. In my opinion the thread clearly relates to the Mindless Chit Chat section.

I can imagen one reason is because it was made before mindless chit-chat was created. Would of been nice if you PMed me about this, because I agree.

Its not something that has been brought up with the other mods before. It can be down to opinion on this one.

I doubt a moderator really cares if they get a bunch of crappy PMs about stupid people who disagree when you're doing the right thing. We are all supposed to do what we are supposed to do, no matter if people start nagging. I remember I once cleared the entire Witch Hunter Robin sub-forum and went against Webmaster's complaints and user's complaints and got the sub-forum deleted because of gay threads. :p

I'm loosing my patience. If it hasn't been moved yet because your scared you'll get some moron PMing you complaints, well then your a weak and sh*tty moderator and should be demodded. Can you either move the thread or give me an explanation of why it hasn't been moved yet.

Agreed, and moved.

There are ton of things that should really be moved from OTD to MCC, but it's so time-consuming. And since the mods don't work as a team on here, if I were to move things, someone will probably move them back.

I think the moderators (and every user!) should just use the forum descriptions as a guide for where things go. And for the threads which are harder to place just discuss them amongst yourselves(the mods) until you can reach a decision.
