May the mountains rise against you
May the forests block your path
May your axes chip and shatter

I have read none of the above except Eragon and I have yet to finish it.

Anyone read VC Andrews' books?

Its a book? My friend said it was called Northern Lights. Oh well...
The sea of monsters its a book its really good its about this guy whos dad turns out to be the god of the sea..im no good at explaining stuff.i really ain't.
.

Can I explain? The Sea of Monsters is the second book of the Series. The first book is called The Lightning Thief. I read that and it was really good!!! Anyway, there's this guy called Percy Jackson and he finds out the Greek Gods are alive. He finds out he's a half-blood (half god half human) and he's sent to this place called Half-blood Hill, made for Half-bloods (Yes there are more) He finds out he's the son of the Greek God of the Sea, Posiedon, and he get offered a quest and everything. Really good...^^

Eragon and Eldest are good, just not as good as some of my favourite books: The Alex Rider Series and the Rangers Apprentice Series.

Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz: Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, Ark Angel, Snakehead

Rangers Apprentice by John Flagan (sp?): The Ruins of Gorlan, The burning bridge, The icebound land, Oakleaf Bearers, The Sorcerer in the North, The Siege of Macindaw, Erak's Ransom
AVATAR 4EVA!!!!!!!

Name changed. Previous name: Sesshomaru's Girl

A book called "Kira-Kira" by Cynthia Kadohata.

I picked this up because I noticed the title was japanese and thought I could learn something.
I learned a lot, it was sad, cute, realistic - and tragic.

It's about two girls, a little girl and her older sister - who are Japanese and live in America. A lot of things happen in the book that make me feel a lot of things, like hatred for the humanity portrayed, yet sympathy for them as well.

I really liked this book, even though it was ages ago that I read it.

I heard that Kadohata won an award(s) for that book. I haven't read that book, but I have read "Weedflower."

My mom brought it for me from the elementary school she used to work at. It's a very good book and one of my favourites.

It takes place during WWII, about this Jap/Amer. girl, whose family raises a farm of flowers.
Her family is forced to move into the concentration camps after Pear Harbour is bombed. She befriends a Native American boy and begins to cope with the situation, but changes are made and everyone around her suffers as a result.

It's much better than I make it sound though. I highly recommand it.

Ah, I've read Kira-Kira. It was quite sad, but there were some sweet parts in it.
Spoiler
Show
Like the part where the girls are saving their money so their parents can have a new house.
