Why does...

Why does everyone think that inuyasha and kiky will be perfect for eachother? or kagome and inuyasha... (im going to explain alot of thinhs)

I think that kikyo and inuyasha were a great couple. Until she tried killing him. I don't see kagome and inu-yasha lasting very long. Why, you ask. Well because in the show kagome is commited to her era. AND i don't elieve she will leave behind her era for the ancestor's era. your thinking why can't inuyasha join her there? well i have a problem there also. If inu-yasha joins kagome in the present day japan then he will be leaving his home land in danger. while your thinking that naraku by then will have been defeated i still believe sesshomaru will cause a threat and the still existing demons will also inflict a huge threat. So i don't see inu-yasha and kagome lasting. No where am i saying that i don't want them to be together. I am simply stating that i see this not lasting. and to further my reasons why i tihnk kagome will want to stay in her era is also because she does't want to abandon her life (family, friends, ect..)so i say that inu-yasha miroku and sango all should stick to people in their own era. here are what i've come up with

Inu-yasha + For now, no one

~ I see him as too cold hearted and he simply states hat he'd rather not be around someone who can cause him any sort of threat.


Miroku + Kagura

~Although she is an incarnation of Naraku's, she still has the ability to not listen while Kanna and his other incarnations have followed him to the end. She wants to be rid of Naraku and in the episode where Inu-yasha and Sesshomaru get through Naraku's acctual barrior she shows that she doesnt want to fight them any further and wants to mend her holes in their blanket.

Sango + some one in the future.

~I don't think that the creaters of inu-yasha have a charactor i see her being with that won't hurt her heart. She doesn't do well with the loss of anothers life. She lets it come to close to her and she is distracted by the image that they may come back. as the old saying goes..."Fools who wear their hearts proudly on their sleeves, who cannot control their emotions, who wallow in sad memmories and alllow themselves to be provoked easily-weak poeple in other words, they stand no chance..."

Kagome + Anyone from her era.

~Although she "loves" inu-yasha, she still thinks that he is too stubborn. And as i've stated before is won't last. So i think that she will do good with anyone from present day.

Sesshomaru + Yura of the Hair

~because, she is capable of handling herself and when pain is inflicted on her she over comes it and she is a person inu-yasha doesnt have to protect


Shippo + Souten

~She is independent and can teach shippo a few things

But also i think that inuyasha could do good with princess Tsuyu. Athough she is married to Tsukomo of the Toads i can still see her with inuyasha.
