Hey everyone, so I have been thinking a lot

And.. :|
I felt like a race horse in a world without racetracks or a champion college footballer suddenly confronted by Wall Street and a business suit, his days of glory shrunk to a little gold cup on his mantel with a date engraved on it like a tombstone.

do you ever think at some point its time to grow up? That friendships are meant to once be, then to let go? I have contemplated deleting my account and just kind of leaving, moving on, and starting life with a new laugh track. So to speak. seems like life is in need of actually-for once-starting a fresh.

Yes, I've contemplated the same thing ... but I don't want to lose the people I've met here. They're all so wonderful and I know I'll miss each one of them. You're one of my best friends here Mai :(

This better be a late April Fools joke. :/

edit: Didn't want to get sappy on AA. But yeah whatever.
I'd seriously be heartbroken if you left :| I've known you two years, (not long compared to most of your friendships) and I know how we feel about eachother, so I'm sure the 5-year ones are that tenfold... sooooo ](*,)

I've had that feeling once or twice, but eh, theres a select few of you I really have grown to admire, and losing contact would be a reallllly bad thing :?

But is moving on form the past such a bad thing? I still have a cellphone, correspondence and a slew of means to be gotten a hold of.

I kind of feel like letting go is almost an extremely healthy thing.

I thought about deleting my account on quite a few sites. But, I'd miss many old AAers. Technically, I already miss them because even people that haven't actually deleted their accounts don't come on anymore. And people that are still here that I used to be close to I'm not close to anymore. Like you, Mai. We used to be close. =[ You, me, and Christie. And when's the last time I've seen hide or hair of her on here? Yeah.
Sooo, yeah. But do I think deleting this account would make me feel refreshed? Not really. >.> I don't frequent here enough anymore to call myself attached. So deleting, not deleting...wouldn't make much difference. Most people who I found it imperative to have kept in contact with have my various email addresses.

It would be selfish, of anyone, to ask you to hold onto something that was a burden to you.

If a fresh start is what you desire, will improve your life and give comfort - I could give you nothing less, than my unreserved support.

I will not kid myself or anyone with the naive notion I understand your feelings towards AA (or past it), I have my own experience and understanding, which could possibly relate, but never in full.

It's just AA, I sometimes lit it slip my mind that its the people behind this medium that I enjoy the company of, the platform for it seems irrelevant.

Whatever makes you happy I suppose. Tho for some reason I can't ever myself ever letting go of this place in some way or another.... The memories will hurt too much to let go. I met alot of good people in this place, in actuallity some of my best years were during this places' earlier years.
