yea Rena is shugo's twin sister and they were seperated by parents. Rena won a contest for the both of them and now they resemble the legendary dot hackers. they finally get to see each other after years of seperation but in a game. Shugo tries to protect Rena and he ends up dying but this girl named Aura gave him life and Kite's legendary bracelet. thats basically it.

its a virtual reality game that comes with a helmet and u have to download it from the comp so Rena just basically forces Shugo to play.
