why he won't is the questions. it's not a question of if he can. i would say that he wouldn't because he sees that everyone who comes into contact with the jewel have their lives ruined by it...that it destroys a piece of them...and therefore wisely decided (using that brain that he does possess) to stay away from it. ...hey, it could happen.

sorry, quoted the wrong one from the same person. she said whoever came in contact with it went crazy. but kouga has two shards and is not crazy (not anymore than he is) and naraku didn't go crazy (he's just evil) and another man had a shard and he lived to be older than 100, he didn't go crazy
