help me figure out the Big O

so far i've seen almost all the episodes since they started airing on Adult Swim some 2 or so years ago. i've been able to make sense of most of it (i think) but i really am clueless when it comes to the details. i saw the "last" epidsode where angel discovers that her memories were that of a tv program and that she is the true pilot of Big Duo, and therefore causing the loss of memory. but the ending was waaaaaay open-ended. also i totally dont get "act 14: roger the wanderer" i have no idea how it fits in with the whole thing. If someone would liek to take the time to explain this the over-arching plot in detail, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks.

Same here i've seen Big O from begining to end and still can't figure out the ending.

The second season is out and its currently running on Adult Swim although they still call it Big O. In truth its actually The Big O 2. The ending is very confusing o.o; and in the manga it just stops durring an important part and ends o.< so I think Hajime Yatates ending for Big O was meant to be confusing.. o.o;
