ahhh..yes another poem.....
Inhaling My Sanity
Inhaling clouds exhaling my life as I knew it.
The shock and terror of it made me think I was awake.
Not seeing but want what was unsafe.
My sanity has expired
The second could of dust
Made me feel like doing drugs was a must
Expressions of a new weapon
This drug was leaving me the wrong impression
Overrated as it may seem
But doing drugs was the new me
This wasn’t happening again
Hopefully it was my last time
My brain is too fried to even rhyme.
Not knowing what comes next.
Snorting again would just be so fun
Like driving a car I had just won
As warped as it may seem.
I finally saw my life in a clear image
So I grabbed another bowl, picked up that blunt and gave a bong a new home
Of all the people, why did it have to me?
Pocketing some vike
Grabbing a valium or two
Happiness was what I needed
As it meant nothing to you
I willfully drank another beer
Felt as though I was playing your part of the show
I began to feel my greatest need
A pull or drag of some of that weed
I was trying to get you off my mind
But having you call me jealously, hearing a guy or a few
Made me realize how much I don’t need you
I’m only human, and I [censored] up a few too many times
Sadly my worst was ever being with you
A simple breath, a new slate for a new day
Made me part my old ways
Down the drain went my beer
In the fire went my one desire
Without alcohol, drugs and you
I’m left alone to my notebook
Unleashing my passion of high school
Wanting one last puff but now I don’t want to be like you.
A down right [censored] fool

You really have an infinity for poetry not many people like bush me because(go ahead and call me a consiptuist(sp) if you want I don't care)I think he started the war just to get reelected now back on topic you really do have great poetry
re: Museum of Mai's work
Thank you. really i do appreciate that. here's a poem aobut what the generation is going through.
Our Generation
One day to come
One mor elife left without fun
Hanging out with your friends
Wondering what message this generation sends
Sipping oyur beer
Slurring your vioce
Puching eachother without any fear
This was all made by choice
Potheads are the majority
Parents dont stop it
Now a days they have no authority
If they try, their kids put up a fit
You reach for car keys
Rev the engine
Hoping everyone sees
Our integrity will eventually give in
You all drive to the party
Only a bit drunk
There's no way now to feel saftey.

re: Museum of Mai's work
Finally i can post.
I wanted to complement youre other works but you keeped putting new poems.
But now i can tell you. I really liked them. Though you have to correct youre spelling it was a little hard to read.
But i liked youre drawing and all the poems you made were wonderful.

I Wish
I wish for love to become me
I wish for love to always be
I wish someone could understand this
I wish you would just blow me a kiss
I wish this poem weren't about love
I wish i would stop wishing
I wish you'll get what i mean when i say I have to wish one last time
I wish you would always be mine

Amazing poems Mai, wonderful, well thought out, and filled with deep messaging. The picture also was quite good, very well detailed. Great job. ^_^

re: Museum of Mai's work
Heres like a freewrite. Its all emo in denial type thing. Its an old old old old old poem, so dont get any false ideas about me when you read it.I changed alot since i was 12. alot has happened with my dad in Alcoholics Anonymouse and what not. But yea here it is....
A few years ago one or two.
i felt i pressed my point of view.
I easily greabbed a knife , made deep incisions, found my self lying in a pool of blood.
something i truely loved
Carelessly touched a rusty razor to my skin.
cried like a helpless emo child
fought back the burning cries
horrifying pain
beagan to burst into flames
molded expressions on my face
is this all death takes?
obviously this hadn't happened for the last time
calling the shots to the end of my life line.
Halfway thorugh class the pain rised on it's own
fright in my heart beat faster when i felt like someone must have known.
Blood drips down my hands
Magnifing the beating with every drop that lands
staining my skin on it's way down
silently im enjoying the intense
searching for a way around.
Hoping to hang all these worries on a barbed wire fence
I lifted that razor. (for the last time?)
sliced up my arms and mentally my mind.
But my luck was runing thin
Why does the thread of life have to be so slim?
I started to drift away
Falling on the floor for my classmates to see
I wake up in my bed sweating
It was only a dream
But I reached to my table
Grabbed a knife
Slowly and easily began to slice.
Regretting nothing.
Feeling nothing
Wanting nothing.
As I sleep my blood still runs
I didn’t dream. Not tonight
Because after I fell asleep I didn’t wake
Not even breathe
yes, this one is pretty bad but I was 12 when I wrote it and I kept all if not most the original writing.

Jennifer’s Death
It became the time to express my mind
To tell the school of what these years led me to find
I stood in front of my fellow students and friends
Looked for the words to express what this situation sends
It was the day of Jennifer’s death
The girl who was fun but secretly did crystal meth
I watched their mournful faces and began to despise
If it weren’t for them, her life wouldn’t have been based on high school lies
As time ticked by, everyone began to whisper
What, when Jennifer tried to talk you didn’t listen but now she’s quite it’s all you can hither?
At last I came to a decision and I let my self speak:
“I’m here today to discuss Jennifer’s death. Something that only happened last weak.
She had the fantasy to be a star
But now she’s gone it’s off so far
She had the mind, spirit and dream
But does that imply you all had to be so mean?
With here gone today I feel I should say
If you guys didn’t feel guilty would you still be here on this sad, sad day? “
No one spoke not a sound was heard
For I knew a silent lesson was finally learned
So I began to speak again
Something that they knew would make a mend
“Everyone would tease and play with her heart
She never got a complement from her peers. Only a simple “good job” for her smarts
Living a life in school, One all its own
Using the love and caring she’s truly shown
Jennifer used her mind not her looks
And got pointed at for always caring a lot of books
But as I think about it you guys weren’t alone.
Some of these hateful traits I have shown.”
I let the words dawn on everyone
Hopefully Jennifer’s long battle will soon be won
I started to speak with a stronger tone
Something that was hard since Jennifer couldn’t use the one she had on her own
“But as I think about all the secrets she hid
would you have known about the drugs she did. No one else did.
She overdosed on ecstasy last night
Trying to find a way out of this high school battle she had to fight.
Now it’s time to own up to our sins.
Forget our pride and get down on our shins.”
With the last word I got on my knees
Not caring if everybody else sees
I looked to the sky
Slowly began to cry
Because of us, Jennifer was the one who had to die
“I’m sorry Jennifer for what I had done.
It’s not your fault. To you it wasn’t anyone’s
We were jerks and for that your gone
You understood the world, you were the only one
Someday I hope you will finally be able to say goodbye
And go on with your future, up in the sky.”
