re: Wordsworth
I'm familiar with it.
It's a fantasy series which originally began as a game (released by ELF) and was eventually made into a 5-episode OVA (ELF games usually had a very good artistic quality to them, as noticed by other games jumping to OVAs). The storyline in both cases is generally the same.
My memory's a little sketchy, so I may not get all the details right, but here's the gist of it.
In the ancient times, the Gods created a large tablet of wisdom named Words Worth. But no one could read the tablet, and the tablet itself was eventually shattered into fragments.
There are two "tribes" of civilization that are now vying for control of the tablet. On the surface, you have the Tribe of Light, humans gifted with magical powers. Underground, you have the Tribe of Shadow, full of long-lived humans and semi-human creatures. Known to both sides is a prophecy that one who is descended from both Light and Shadow will be able to render Words Worth readable. Unknown to both sides is that agents of true darkness are seeking to ferment the current chaos into a war of mutual anihilation. It is into this maelstrom that a swordsman, Astral, enters. Unknown to him, this foundling raised in Shadow by the king had missing elements in his past that will come into play to help begin the final resolution of the struggle for Words Worth.
(Heck, the way I put it, I should probably take time to polish this up and submit a profile. I'm just not one to send hentai profiles that often.)
