I think you're talking about Seina Yamada. He's Tenchi's friend, and I wouldn't call him a coward... although he is extreamly unlucky.

Seina ends up signing up in the Galaxy Police Academy (mostly because his family thought they would win a prize if he did), and has all sorts of adventures... and ends up being pursued by pretty girls like Tenchi.

[WAKAI]

could you tell me the names of the 2 girls.

[BigKwell]

could you tell me the names of the 2 girls.

If you want to get technical, Seina has to contend with EIGHT girls, who he ends up marrying at the end of the series. Their names are:

Amane Kaunaq
Kiriko Masaki (slight relation to Tenchi)
Ryoko Balta (NO relation to Ryoko Hakubi)
Neju Ne Melmas
Gyokuren
Hakuren
Karen
Suiren.

You also get to meet Mitoto Kuramitsu, Mihoshi's mom, but she just like's Seina's hair (she likes soft things).

[WAKAI]

cool thanks

[Biki]

He did, although the last four were a last-minute addition.
