Cause I dont have all ingridients.
And you cant obtain the Stone, you have to make it,but first you have to know,do,and understand alchemy.
And ofcourse you dont know the secret to make alchemy cause,Paracelsus died with the secret.

...You're being like me. You obtain it from whatever you made it in.Dark Alchemist wrote:Cause I dont have all ingridients.

And what's to say Paracelsus was the only one with the secret? Again... Nicholas Flamel is said to have found it, and his tomb is EMPTY!
So come on, what are the ingredients? And I know and understand Alchemy, all that's left is to do it.

Well you cant make the Stone without doing alchemy first.
And you cant do alchemy without searching for Paracelsus secret.

Do you mean me? I'm actually a she. Thanks for the link, Xiam. I will check that out when I have more time and see about any other references that come up on the net.

Oh, you are? Dang, no wonder you made the most sense...NoMatter wrote:Do you mean me? I'm actually a she. Thanks for the link, Xiam. I will check that out when I have more time and see about any other references that come up on the net.
And no problem... I'll try and find more if I can re-find what I've found before. I doubt you'd need anything on the Emerald Tablet, though ^_^;
Oh, also check http://www.sacred-texts.com - I found some stuff, but I have too little of an attention span to keep reading.

ROFL! What was that about?Lil' Biki wrote:GIRL POWER! we will rule the world one day. anyway...
And let's face it, you already do. The brains behind the men are the women. But in the future... The world will be invaded by SQUIRRELS! MILLIONS OF SQUIRRELS WITH NUCLEAR BOMBS MADE OF HOLLOWED OUT ACORNS!
...Or Hamsters. Same prinicple with the nuclear weapons, but smaller since all they get for materials are wood chips and food pellets. Unless they fashioned a missile out of a water bottle.
But yeah, back to the Stone... I definitely think there is no real STONE Stone, it's a metaphor for true wisdom. And probably psychic abilities. Not sure.
re: Philosipher's Stone
i was being crazy. and you're so right. we do rule. but soon everyone will know it.and lol. boy what is wrong with you? if anyone rules after women it will be the coakroaches. they will survive the nuclear wars and live to tell the tale. in roach of course. but still.
(on the stone, i think there is so a real stone. women's intuition. you can't possibly question that.)

Re: re: Philosipher's Stone
Okaaay....
Anyway, I have some feeling that the Phoenix and Ouroboros, being big symbols in Alchemy, have a lot to do with the Philosopher's Stone. Anybody know anything about that?

...Not eye, said the nose.
From the Wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet), here is one of the many translations of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes - Presumably by Isaac Newton.
1. Tis true without lying, certain & most true.
2. That wch is below is like that wch is above & that wch is above is like yt wch is below to do ye miracles of one only thing.
3. And as all things have been & arose from one by ye mediation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
4. The Sun is its father, the moon its mother,
5. the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nourse.
6. The father of all perfection in ye whole world is here.
7. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth.
7a. Separate thou ye earth from ye fire, ye subtile from the gross sweetly wth great indoustry.
8. It ascends from ye earth to ye heaven & again it desends to ye earth and receives ye force of things superior & inferior.
9. By this means you shall have ye glory of ye whole world & thereby all obscurity shall fly from you.
10. Its force is above all force. ffor it vanquishes every subtile thing & penetrates every solid thing.
11a. So was ye world created.
12. From this are & do come admirable adaptaions whereof ye means (Or process) is here in this.
13. Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of ye philosophy of ye whole world.
14. That wch I have said of ye operation of ye Sun is accomplished & ended.
And now, for the seven steps of the creation on the Philosopher's Stone (supposedly).
Calcination
Dissolution
Separation
Conjunction
Fermentation
Distillation
Coagulation
How that came out of the Emerald Tablet, I have no idea. I know it was explained, but that's a hard thing to go to.

re: Philosipher's Stone
hey cool but what is this emerald tablet thing does it tell you how to make a philosiphers stone? if so y would it be in riddles mabye it isnt in riddles mabye the peope who made it knew exactly what those things meant but to us we have no idea like the sun to the people who made it might be fire or something i dont know im just throwing stuff out there but it seems impractical to make it in riddles i mean why? mabye the makers only wanted a smart person to know the secret and not just some idiot who read a tablet.
