Description: Inu × Boku SS
Discover Anime @ AbsoluteAnime.comSuper Diminsional Fortress MacrossInu × Boku Secret Service, known in Japan as Inu × Boku SS, is set at Ayakashi Hall, an exclusive luxury apartment building that admits only descendants of families with youkai blood, each of whom inherits the ability to transform into the spirit of their ancestry. Because the residents' ancestors tend to attract trouble, every tenant is assigned a personal Secret Service bodyguard chosen from the same ranks.
The story follows Ririchiyo Shirakiin, a wealthy, sharp-tongued teenage girl who has moved into Ayakashi Hall hoping to finally live on her own and learn how to be around people without instinctively cutting them down. Her assigned bodyguard, the unfailingly polite fox-spirit Soushi Miketsukami, complicates that plan considerably: he is staggeringly handsome, alarmingly devoted, and quietly insists that he has known her in a previous life. As Ririchiyo gets to know her fellow tenants and their bodyguards, including the cheerful tanuki-blooded Banri Watanuki, her brittle defenses slowly begin to soften.
Animated by David Production under director Naokatsu Tsuda in 2012, and based on the manga by Cocoa Fujiwara, the series blends supernatural-romance comedy with character drama about loneliness, self-acceptance, and learning to accept kindness from others.
