no,Gohan was stronger than Goku when Gohan defeated Cell,and he was stronger after elder kai's...uhhh...training,but Goku became stronger,in between the years of DBZ and DBGT,while training with Uub and Gohan settled down with his family.then,Goku became a ss4.Gohan is not stronger than Goku

yea gohan was technically stronger as long as he had hidden powers

but he wasn't when goku first turned super saiyan and he didn't get back up there until he himself turned super. then when buu showed up goku was cause he was hiding ssj3. gohan then caught up and passed goku when old kai unleashed his strength. he stayed strongest until goku hit ssj4

very well said.but i don't think Gohan was the strongest in Dragonball GT because Gohan had settled down to take care of a family.and knowing Vegeta,he was training the whole time between DBZ and DBGT.plus Goku and Uub were training the whole time too,and don't forget Piccolo.

In all honesty I don't think Gohan was stronger than his dad in the Cell Games. Think about Goku beat Pikkon who knocked cell down one punch.

as a couple of us said there were parts during some of the series where gohan became stronger than his dad but yes he is definatly smarter

But you are right in thinking that Gohan is not as powerful as Goku.

Gohan was never ment to be more powerful than Goku (sure he was more powerful at some point or another but spare me the argument. I KNOW GOHAN WAS MORE POWERFUL WHEN HE WAS FIGHTING CELL! I don't need telling again. But I'm speaking in general terms here)... I mean what kind of a writer, writes off his main character??? That would just suck, everything.
