Ok. Let's say for a moment there is no God.

How did the universe begin? Sure, there was a big bang, but what caused it? What caused the factors that caused the big bang, and so on and so forth. How was the Earth positioned in JUST the right place with JUST the right size of a moon JUST the right distance from the sun with the perfect amount of oxygen? Why are no two snowflakes alike, and why are no two trees alike?

The hard evidence happens to be in records kept in cities during the roman empire, Jesus was considered a disruptive anarchist of sorts during his time (Irony), and was executed for it by the roman government, they kept records of executions.

Another point is that the bible has been translated and edited over 6 times, over 5 books were removed and changed over history to serve aristocrat's purposes, meaning that the original text was far different from the one read, and as previously stated was meant to be more of a guideline to life than an actual historical text.

Now for the personal opinions on religion;
I myself am an Atheist (This means that I don't believe in any deity), however I do have opinions on religion (In this post more specifically Christianity), as it is an influential part of society and no less real that the world we live in (Which may very well be no more real than nothing but that is another discussion) and I also tend to fall under the Philosopher category. I think that it does serve a purpose as defining a framework of positive ideals, however it failed in attempting to defying Good and Evil as absolutes, any attempt do define good and evil in this manner will inevitably create problems (and it has).

I choose to live by a set of morals as opposed to a religious edict, but again, that's the choice I live by and by no means am I attempting to infringe upon anyone else’s beliefs, these are just my opinions.

a very good point, kudo. though he's an atheist and i believe in God, it seems that our views on religion are very similar. Religion is a means for people to be brought together by unique ideas and beliefs.

Why is anubis here because he was spawned from two seprate beings with diffrences that create a new being.
