Gundam Seed is far worse then G gundam and SD gundam, it rips off MSG story line, and kira should have died so many times. Gesh I hate more then bayblade,when they stole the Amuro and Lalah fighting seen and put it with kai and tyson.

Yes Gundam Seed sucks, but there is no point in posting a thread bashing it. A few of the Gundam Seed fans here are rabid about GS, and refuse to listen to reason (cough, Itsuwhite...)

(Besides, While I hate Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny is much more disappointing. It wows you with its first 7 episodes, then after episode 7, its all a steaming pile of crap. I've counted 6 recap episodes, and considering each episode has a budget of approximately USD 220,000, I would have assumed that that sort of budget would be enough to cover some lovely new and spiffy animation, instead of the constantly recycled animation of Shinn wiping out hordes of Windams. Fuku must die to atone for his sins.)

I've only heard about the recaps reading them on MAHQ. The only saving grace of Seed Destiny are the redesigned UC mobile suits which look nice along side other UC models.

So I support your endevor to turn Seedlings into real Gundam fans.

Yeah , The redesigned UC suits are awesome, but only next to UC suits; They look out of place with SEED-D's asthetic designs. They look great if you put them next to a Rick Dom or a Bawoo, but they look less advanced than SEED's GINNs, DINNs, GaZOOTs, GuAIZs, etc. The Destroy Gundam is probably the only homage I outright HATE though. Love the Zakus though. I wish Bandai woul make a HGGS 1/144 Slash Zaku Phantom. Along with a HGUC Nemo, a HGUC GM Sniper II, HGUC GM Sniper III, and most importantly of all, A MASTER GRADE TURN X. Come on Bandai, the Turn X needs some love...

Anyways, I hope the next Gundam series Bandai makes will have a director that has a coherent story outline, instead of GSD's "Voters choose the storyline" crap that Fuku tried to pull. If the next Gundam series is Seed again, I might download it, as long as it has a new director. If Fukuda is directing the next Gundam series, I'm not even going to bother to download the next series.

I think they do have a HGGS 1/144 Slash Zaku Phantom, I saw a bunch of different varients at Otakon. I got a Zaku Warrior and Gunner and they now stand with the rest of my UC Zeon mobile suits.

I would like to have gotten the Gouf Ingited, but I have Packard's custom Gouf and a flight Gouf as it is. What's needed is more models of common GM and thier varients. I've seen plenty of old GM models, it's time for them to be updated.

Seed could use more Earth Forces common suits models too. 1 Dagger just doesn't cut it. The Jet Windham would be nice. I would also like to see a redone version of some of the ZZ series, I just like the way the Hamma Hamma looks.

Really? I've only seen a no grade variant. Well, if there is, that would be awesome. though if there isn't, I theoretically could just buy a no grade Slash Zaku and a HG Zaku Phantom and just combine them. Yeah, I agree about the GMs, though there are still many GMs that still need a kit. The GM Sniper II sorely needs a HGUC. I also wouldn't mind seeing a GM II, III, or a Jegan HGUC. Would also be nice to see some of the downsized post CCA era suits get a new HGUC makeover. I'd love to get the F91 Guntank (even thoug it would only be, what, 3 inches high?). Oh yeah, forgot about the Methuss! I have the original 1985 kit, and it REALLY need a new kit. Though it looks decent in MA mode, MS mode looks ugly as hell.

And concerning the Seed line, I find it intresting that there are so many different Zaku, Gouf, and Gundam variations, while other suits like the Murasame, Daggers, and Windams get little, to nothing at all. I've been waiting for Bandai to create a Jet Striker for ages (Along with the Nemo. I really want to make a kitbash of a Nemo and a Jet striker. Metal Armor Nemo-Dragonar ). I think Bandai realizes that Zeonic styled kits sell better than GM styled kits. Which sucks for GM lovers

There was a GM sniper 1/144 scale HGUC but I think they were made in limited numbers. I've seen Bandai is starting a line of these limited models as the Albion was very tempting at Otakon. How are you at scratch building? It's the only way I see some of the things like the Jet Striker ever being made.

I'm toying with the idea of kitbashing the backpack of a NG Wing Gundam with the HGUC Guncannon's spray missiles, and adding some extra thrusters to make a Jet striker.

I seen every damn Gundam,, there are plenty and Gundam Seed is one of my favorites. It is what I believe to be good Gundam, not the best but good and good enough to purchase so now I basicaly own every Gundam ever made.

Oh, I thought you meant the GM sniper from 08th MS Team. You're talking about the one from Gundam 0080. Now that could be done on the model of a regular GM. That would be a cool custom model job if you knew how to do it.

Just watched the final episode of GSD. Terrible to say the least. No final duels, sh*tload of recycled clips, and it just STANK. Watch IJ and SF pwn everyone, without even breaking a sweat, then obliterating the WMDs with little trouble. sh*t puree. Glad that's over; The train has finally crashed. I swar if Fuku directs the next Gundam series, then I will declare the Gundam franchise dead.

I hope you are right Mobile, that GSD is Fuku's last. Heck, there's a lot of things I'd change about Seed as it is, GSD I'd think a total re-write is still in order. Such a shame really, the Gundam franchise just made it past the 25 year milestone and you wonder howmuch more can they do with it?

Care to expand upon this?
Seed is just a rewrite of the original. Add some characters that were made to draw a female viewer, not to mention a tame version of war. Not as touchy feelly as Wing mind you, but it just wasn't as hard edged.

G Gundam other than being a little off the wall, it's not the best but it's very original. Some of the mobile suits were pretty cool as well. Some down right corny.
