Gotta Question here bout tonight's episode

Uh yeah when Kazuma and Ryuho begaan there fight with there basic alters Kazuma's states "I learned this attack from my brother...Cougar!" Yeah so amy question is are Kazuma and Straight Cougar related? I mean i know the two have a pass together and also towards the end of the episode Cougar tells a bunch of kids that Kazuma is like his little brother. Now because Cougar said he was like his lil brother that leads me to believe that u know their friendship runs that deep. I'm not exactly sure so could any of you guys clarify for me.

Kazuma and Cougar are not really bothers but they are as close as bothers can get. You see when Kazuma was really little Cougar took him in and raised him. He helped him learn how to use his alter power and most of his fighting moves he learned from Cougar. Then Cougar disappered when Kazuma got a little older turns out he was taken to the mainland and refined. Then Kazuma was on his own for awhile then found Kanami and the rest as they say is history.
