He's alright, but he's no Crichton.

You know what I wouldn't mind reading? The Running man by Richard Bachman. (Trust me, there is a connection.)

The Talisman (which he co-wrote with some other chap I believe) and The Shining are probably his best. I find most of his books repetitive and even predictable, like he recycled his storylines, lol.

Stanley Kubricks movie, The Shining is frickin awesome, but the Pet Semetary movies suck. Those kids can be freaky though.

I'm planning on reading his like...autobiography? It has a load of writing tips with examples towards the rear, and it talks about him getting hit by a car, dropping a cinder block on his foot and having his ear-drum pierced by a needle. ^_^

I read some of it at my friends house one time. If you are interested in writing (like me) I recommend it.

I've read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and thought that it was a good read. I'd love to read The Shining.

I think many of us knew that, Symos. But thank you for educating those who have not bothered to read the list of his written works in the first pages of each novel.

Stephen King! I just got into his books but he's awesome. Yay!

I saw IT, Secret Window, Carrie, Pet Semetary, and The Shining (though I was craking up everytime that guy made a psyco face. creeped me out XD).

I have read Carrie and "Secret Window Secret Garden" and other stuff in Four Past Midnight (?), and I'm working on The Tommyknockers and Dreamcatcher.

Good stuff, the dark tower that is.

Can't find anyone else though.
